Bob Ragsdale

Bob Ragsdale was born and raised in Harlem, Montana. He began his rodeo career in High School, competing in all events, and was the Montana High School All-Around Champ in 1956. He served as President of the Montana High School Rodeo Association that year. Bob joined the PRCA in 1961 and was an NFR qualifier 15 times in Calf Roping, 5 times in Steer Wrestling and 2 times in Team Roping. He served as Vice President of the PRCA for 2 years, and as President for 3 years. Bob joined the NSPRA and continued his rodeo career and service to the sport. He was the NSPRA All Around Champion 3 times, World Champion Calf Roper twice, and has been several times Reserve World Champion in Calf Roping, Ribbon Roping and Team Roping. He has served 6 years on the NSPRA Executive Board and 6 years as President of Friends of Rodeo, along with service to the PRCA Humane Advisory Board and on the Friends of Rodeo Advisory Board. Bob and his wife, Ree, live in Chowchilla, California and have 3 daughters and 6 grandchildren. Bob Ragsdale is a quiet, thoughtful man who wears his many championships well and has always been a great ambassador for the sport of rodeo!
